Q: Do festival wristbands guarantee entrance to all shows?
A: Yes, festival wristbands give you access to all shows pending venue capacity. We recommend you getting to each show early. Once the Fire Marshall says we are full…we are full!

Q: What’s so different about Culture Collide compared to other festivals?
A: The goal of Culture Collide is to bring amazing talent from all over the world to be enjoyed alongside your favorite U.S. artists. We recommend hopping from venue to venue each night and discovering your next favorite band. To further incentivize your evenings, take part in our “Pin It To Win It” challenge.

Q: What are these venues? Ive never heard of these places.
A: We have handpicked some amazing non traditional spots in Echo Park for this years festival. Our goal was to have all venues within walking distace of each other so you could hop back and forth.

Q: What is there to do besides seeing bands?
A: LOTS:

1. ENJOY HAPPY HOURS - Every day we will have country-specific happy hours from 2pm to 8pm at Taix. These will feature acoustic performances, film screenings, country beer specials and free giveaways.
2. CHECK OUT ART - The Lucie Foundation will present a selection of images that showcase both the music makers and the fans that adore them. This pop-up gallery will feature approximately 40 pieces from an international range of photographers reflecting the diverse origins of Culture Collide’s artists. This group show is entitled “Composition: Visual Notes on Music.”
3:  PLAY VIDEO GAMES - Sony Playstation is taking over the ReForm Academy with nightly dance contests.
4: EAT - We will be hand-picking our favorite food trucks from around Los Angeles to be on hand each evening.


Q: Where do I pick up my wristband?
A: Pickup location and hours will be announced soon. Stay tuned!


Q: Are tickets to individual shows available for purchase?
A: There will be a VERY SELECT number of tickets available at venue doors on show nights. Preference to all shows will be given to wristband holders.


Q: Can I hit up shows if I’m under 21? What about the Toyota Antics Block Party?
A: All venue shows are 21 and up. The Sunday Block Party is all ages.


Q: Do you have a list of all the bands playing, as well as set times?
A: Head to our Artists tab for the up-to-date lineup, and stay tuned for the final set times announcement.


Q: Can I volunteer for Culture Collide?

Q: What happens if I lose my wristband?
A: Report back to the pickup location for more info.


Q: What is the easiest way for me to get from club to club?
A: All venues are walking distance from each other, so we recommend parking for the day/night and working those legs.


Q: Do you have special parking areas?
A: There will be valet parking at the Echoplex as well as additional lots in the area.


Q: What’s the deal with the Toyota Antics Block Party?
A: The Block Party will consist of outdoor stages, pop-up shops on the street, and some of our favorite food trucks all day on Sunday, October 9. It is a FREE, all ages event with RSVP, but Culture Collide wristband holders will have access to a priority viewing area. Full details on the lineup with your RSVP information will be released soon. This year there will be a third indoor stage on Sunday, October 9, inside Taix restaurant.


Q: Is there going to be a kick-off party this year and how do I get in?
A: Yes, and it will be amazing. Be sure you sign up for the Culture Collide newsletter and follow the FILTER Magazine Twitter account @FILTERmagazine for all of the details…


Q: What’s the food situation?
A: There are some amazing local restaurants as well as FILTER recommended food trucks that will be out each night. Stay tuned for the full list to be announced.


Q: I’m coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
A: As the official hotel sponsor of FILTER Magazine’s Culture Collide festival, the Redbury is pleased to offer attendees the following rates during the week of October 5th to the 10th:

Highland or Sunset flats - $199 per night
Hollywood flats - $275 per night
Redbury Signature flats - $600 per night

Room rates are based on room type and do not include tourism and occupancy taxes of 14.065% per night. Reservations are subject to availability and require a two (2) night minimum. A valid credit card will be required at time of booking. To avoid a full payment penalty, reservations should be cancelled thirty (30) days prior to arrival.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a 10% discount off of all SBE restaurants by presenting their Culture Collide festival ticket. Valid October 5th to 9th.

Q: I know it’s L.A., but what happens if it rains during the block party?
A:  Bring a hat and jacket because rock and roll doesn’t stop for rain.


Q: I lost my (fill in the blank) during the festival. Is there a lost and found?
A: No. We recommend checking with the venue staff where you may have left it.
